First off, we want to thank everyone who made a donation to our efforts to help out with the medical mask shortage. We were able to donate over 400 masks across the world and now we are seeking to help out with the general public mask shortage.
We're now offering the sale of these reusable cotton masks in sizes ranging from young kids to adults. For every five masks, we will be donating one to healthcare workers around the country.
If you are a healthcare worker and would like to request mask donations, please fill out this form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We want to assure you that our sewing facilities are taking safety precautions to produce these masks and we are paying fair wages to our sewing machinists. These masks are not-for-profit and are going directly to the people who are making them and the small team behind Selva Negra.
We also wanted make a few notes on these cotton masks: they are not meant to substitute medical grade masks. Our masks are 100% cotton, machine washable, and reusable but we advise not to use them in replacement of medically-graded face masks. These masks will NOT prevent COVID-19, but they will reduce the amount of exposure to the virus.
Thank you ALWAYS for your love and support of Selva Negra.
P.S. Special thanks to State The Label for making a digital pattern available to download online here. If you would like to make your own, they have a great tutorial on their webite!
